Maggie Grace, born Margaret Grace Denig on the 21st of September, 1983 in Worthington Ohio, is an American actor. She is famous for playing Shannon Rutherford and Kim Mills and Kim Mills on ABC's Lost TV show. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington located in Ohio left high school in order to move in Los Angeles after her divorced parents. Her first role came to her as Rachel's Room's lead character in 2001 despite struggling with finances. The role she played of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV film Murder In Greenwich in 2002 earned her nominations for a Young Artist Award. Grace was Shannon Rutherford on the Lost television series in 2004. She was the main protagonist for two seasons and also won a Screen Actors Guild Award. Grace left the television series in the year 2005, to take on the role of a greater part in films, having appeared opposite Tom Welling as Kim Mills in the film Taken. She appeared in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club (both 2007) and also starred alongside Liam Neeson as Kim Mills in Taken in the year 2008. She reprised this role in Taken 2 (2013) and Taken 3 (2015). She also played Alice as Alice in Malice in Wonderland which is the modern-day adaptation from the Lewis Carroll novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace returned to the Lost series for the last two episodes playing Shannon. She was in 2013 for the sixth episode of Californication. She plays Faith who's a star-gazer and groupie. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. She's a Gyllenhaal, the daughters of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), and is older in age than Jake Gyllenhaal. Her acting career started as a young teenager as she was cast in minor roles in several films that her father directed. Also, she worked alongside her brother on the 2001 cult film Donnie Darko. Later, she was on the screen in Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Mona Lisa Smile (both 2002). Gyllenhaal received nominations for an Golden Globe Award in both the romantic comedy Sherrybaby (2005) as well as the romance comedy Secretary (2002). The two movies were critically acclaimed. The year 2006 was the time she appeared in several commercially successful films, such as World Trade Center. However it was her performance as Rachel Dawes that brought her wider attention in The Dark Knight (2008). She was nominated in the Academy Award as Best Supporting Actress for her performance as Rachel Dawes in Crazy Heart, (2009). In the following years, she appeared in dramatics and comedies: Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011) and Won't Back Down (2012). The other roles she played were a Secret Service agent in the action-thriller White House Down (2013) a musician in Frank (2014) and The title role in the drama The Kindergarten Teacher (2018). Gyllenhaal made her debut as a director and writer in 2021, with her drama about psychological issues The Lost Daughter. For this film she was awarded with the Best Screenplay Award at the Venice International Film Festival and received nominations for the Academy Award.
